olympics opening ceremonies

The 2008 Olympic Opening Ceremonies were spectacular. There over 15,000 people were involved on the floor show alone. I loved how they mingled creativity, technology and their culture into the best opening ceremonies yet. The use of video and lighting in that size of venue and how well it looked on my television was done with perfection.

Randy Elrod was -and is- there and took pictures. You can see them from his perspective here.
