thanks for the memories....

Well I didn't like the new look. The layout is o.k. but wasn't happy with the white background...so I am back to black.

WOW...sitting here watching the 41st annual county music awards. I am having so many memories run through my head. Twelve years ago, this year, I was punking around in Nashville getting coffee, running errands and recording artist's 'name drops' for radio in the A&R offices of MCA Records Nashville. Then label president Tony Brown is an amazing producer and has crafted some amazing tunes by some great artists. I have memories of sitting in the office, in meetings and the studio with him and his A&R staff. Memories of Reba, Trisha Yearwood, the Mavericks (remember them?) and Rodney Crowell standing behind a microphone in our make shift office studio recording lines like 'this is Reba McEntire and we're in tune to US Country 99' are still so vivid. I can't believe that was 12 years ago.
